TAVOLO $11.00 $2.60 4th
TAVOLO travelled comfortably throughout under Jack Martin, who ensured the mare conserved energy in the early and middle stages. However, when the race reached its decisive point, Martin failed to capitalize on her readiness to quicken. Despite TAVOLO having plenty to offer in the concluding stages, Martin was slow to release his mount, resulting in a loss of momentum at a critical juncture. This hesitation proved costly. What should have been a winning or at least placing performance was compromised, with TAVOLO finishing fourth. The mare’s effort was sound, but the rider’s indecision at the business end denied her the result her run deserved.
