Shipshape, Profiler's first qualifier, lost position early, dropping back through the field after the first 200 meters. However, as the race progressed, he steadily improved his position, showing determination in the home straight. Though slow to hit top gear, he finished strongly to secure third place. With a more precisely timed ride, he could have been in contention for the win. Mohnar, the second qualifier, endured a difficult trip, racing three wide for the entirety of the mile. As expected, this positioning took its toll, leaving her without the necessary reserves in the closing stages. Given her ability, this result does not reflect her true potential. A more tactical approach and an experienced rider would undoubtedly enhance her prospects in future outings.
