Profiler's only qualifying runner of the day, The Magstar, highlighted both potential and areas for improvement. The grey mare began the race positioned midfield, in an event characterized by tearaway leaders who set a demanding early pace. This positioning meant she was left with significant ground to make up in the closing stages. As the field approached the home turn, Olivia East urged the mare forward and while she responded well, the effort required to chase down the leaders proved too great for her to secure a top-three finish. Given this performance, The Magstar is likely to benefit from increased fitness, race experience and a stronger contender in next start.
