The mare settled comfortably and travelled with intent throughout the 1100m dash, maintaining rhythm and positioning through the middle stages. However when asked to quicken at the business end she lacked her customary turn of foot and flattened out late. While the finish missed her usual punch, the overall effort was sound and suggests she remains competitive at this level. She stays on our follow-up list for next start pending conditions and market price. $100 each way gave us $300 return.
