Explosive Power looked promising on paper and settled well throughout the 2040 meters. However, despite traveling comfortably, the gelding was unable to produce his trademark acceleration in the final stretch, resulting in a disappointing finish. Moor Mumm was elusive in the early stages of the 1400-meter contest, failing to make an impression until the final 250 meters. When the mare finally found her rhythm, she produced an eye-catching late dash, securing third place—a strong effort but leaving room for improvement. Fragile Love was undeniably the hard-luck story of the race. After navigating the turn into the straight, she was forced toward the rail, where she found herself boxed in with no galloping room. Despite this setback, she fought hard to hold onto second place, but given her positioning, she arguably should have taken the win.
